Printing on Fabric

Quilting Express prints images directly onto 200-thread-count, 100% cotton fabric using an inkjet printer. The process we use does not involve heat transfer, so the resulting images feel exactly like the other fine quality fabrics you use in your quilts.

We print on 8 1/2 x 11 inch fabric sheets. Depending upon the size of the block you want to use, we may be able to print more than one picture per page.

When planning how many pictures per page you wish to have printed, remember to add enough room around your pictures for seams! I always put a similar background in the seam area so that if the fabric shifts the least little bit, you don't have a glaring white edge showing on your quilt blocks

In addition to printing your images on fabric, we can also crop, resize, correct and add captions to your pictures.

We can scan your photos, artwork, labels or printed documents up to 9x12 inches in size.

You can send us pictures or other images by email attachments or a CD or floppy disk. We can use most formats including .jpg, .gif, .tif, .bmp, files from Photoshop or Photo-Paint work well also.

All photos are edited to maximize the quality of the output and printed with registration marks outside of the picture are to help line up your ruler for fussy cutting.
